Induced Menopause

I am 22 years old and I recently had a 10-cm ovarian cyst removed in January. In July, I found out that I had three more, one on my left ovary and two on my right. I have tried birth conrol pills, the patch and now the NuvaRing. All methods has made me extremely sick or I've broken out because my skin is too sensitive. I only have one treatment option left.
My docter has suggested numerous times that I take a series of two shots that puts me through menopause for 6 months to help treat my ovarian cysts.

I want to know if there is anyone out there who can help me. I don't know anything about this shot and I would like more information from someone who either has been through this treatment or knows of any other treament that works better.

I have a history of ovarian cysts and endometrosis. My doctor spoke to me about the shot deal and I refused after researching this method. I choose to have an ablasion and it was the best thing I had ever done it has been over 3 years and no period, no side effects, no cyst.

I can give you a perspective from someone who had no options and found myself in fullblown menopause at twenty eight.
My advice try every non-surgical option available-once you have the surgery you can't turn back and you are so young. These shots will stop your period that is not menopause.
